VINNVÄXT is a programme that takes the form of a competition for regions. The aim is to promote sustainable growth by developing internationally competitive research and innovation environments in specific growth fields.

Arrowhead workshop at ARTEMIS Technology Conference 2016

2016-09-28  Arrowhead and Luleå University of Technology will arrange a workshop at the ARTEMIS Technology Conference 2016.

The ARTEMIS Technology Conference has focus on deep technological presentations, both on project achievements and state-of-the-art technology. On October 5, the project Arrowhead and Luleå University of Technology will arrange a workshop about the Arrowhead Framework.

The ARTEMIS conference is held in Madrid, Spain on 4-6 October.

The Arrowhead project is being followed with great interest for its extensive activities in the field of automation and the Internet of Things for the manufacturing, energy and process industries. The budget is EUR 68 million and 78 European partners are taking part in the work led by Professor Jerker Delsing from Luleå University of Technology, who is also a member of the board of ProcessIT Innovations.

Excellent ratings

When Arrowhead was evaluated in a third round for its ongoing work in 2015, the project was given a very high rating, ”excellent”, by an international committee. Arrowhead is Europe’s largest research project in the development of automation for manufacturing, energy and the process industries.
